9/1/26 - We will not have irrigation water from 9/17-10/1.

With all our supplemental water supplies now being depleted we are being faced with the anticipated worst-case scenario. Through existing agreements and contracts, Orchard Mesa Irrigation District (OMID) and Grand Valley Water Users Association (GVWUA) will execute the 2 week on/off alternating plan given the natural river flows.

On the morning of the September 17th OMID will stop receiving water from the river, allowing GVWUA to service their system September 17th – October 1st.
On the morning of October 1st OMID will receive available water for 2 weeks through October 15th, this will be the end of OMID’s 2026 irrigation season.

4/13/26 - Irrigation is on. If there is no water in the canal our pump will not be running.

NO WATERING BETWEEN 10A AND 6P.

NO WATERING ON SUNDAY.

Even numbered addresses water on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Odd numbered addresses water on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The HOA maintains irrigation lines to the main valve in your backyard. Anything beyond the valve is the responsibility of the homeowner. If you discover an issue with your main valve email us at board@cimarronmesahoa.org so we can arrange a repair.

4/10/25 - Our neighborhood is part of the Grand River Mosquito Control District. Here are some tips they have provided to help control mosquito populations.

3/8/24 You may have noticed the underground locating done on the south side of the neighborhood. The city is planning to replace a 24" water line (blue) that currently runs diagonally between 2 homes with a 20" line that would run under the streets. They are still in the planning stage and do not have an estimate of when work will begin.

10/5/25 Update - Construction to update the Linden Ave portion of the project is scheduled to begin 10/13.

10/4/22 - A home at the east end of B 1/2 Rd was vandalized with spray paint. If you happen to see something unusual and are in a position to do something about it or call someone who can, please do. Let's keep this a great place to live.

We are fortunate to live in a great neighborhood but that doesn't mean we are immune to crime. A large number of vehicle break-ins occur as a crime of opportunity. Minimize your risk of becoming a victim by keeping your car doors locked and don't leave valuables where they can be seen.

On the morning of 6/16/21 this individual was spotted in a driveway where he did not belong. He then got into an older small light colored sedan and drove around the neighborhood with the headlights off. We have not received any reports of loss or damage, but temperatures were in the high 70s so the hoodie, gloves, and face covering were likely not due to cold weather.
